This Christmas I’ll be sitting watching the box on tube chair. Just in case a good film comes on, I've made a deluxe model for added comfort. Upcycling an old yoga mat by weaving inbetween the cardboard tubes. This keeps to the theme of being able to build tube chair without any tools, just by using your hands and only making it from existing products; cardboard tubes, cable ties and yoga mat (deluxe version only).

You can even store your new golf balls inside the cardboard tubes.

JUST BY WASHING

They were tiny and synthetic and in the greatest concentration near sewage outflows. In other words, they were coming from us.

In fact, 85% of the human-made material found on the shoreline were microfibers, and matched the types of synthetic material used in clothing.

Numerous studies have shown that small organisms readily ingest microplastics, introducing toxic pollutants to the food chain.

By sampling wastewater from domestic washing machines, it is estimated that around 1,900 individual fibers can be rinsed off a single synthetic shirt- ending up in our oceans.

The consequences of just washing your synthetic sport shirt(s) provide a huge quantity of tiny, toxic microplastics which enter all of our eco systems.
